When a couple in Phoenix, Arizona caught video of the manager of a Del Taco cursing them out through a drive-through window, they posted that video hoping it would get him fired. The consequences have actually been much larger.
The manager stated at the time that he wasn’t worried about the couple filming him.
“You’re gonna get fired.”
“Where you gonna post it, YouTube? Nobody’s gonna f*cking see it.”
Wrong. The video, posted on Vimeo, went viral. At the time of this writing, nearly 600,000 views had been recorded.
The manager also insisted that the video wasn’t going to get him fired.
“Who’re you going to send it to?”
“Your boss.”
“I am the boss. My dad is actually the f*cking owner, so good luck with that.
Wrong again. The manager’s father does own the fast food restaurant, but he also fired his son, the manager, as a result of the video.
It just goes to show that in this age of modern technology, you’d better be careful how you treat people. You wouldn’t want your boss to see you acting this way, or your dad.
