Here Are Some Blatant Inconsistencies In Trump’s Foreign Policy Address

Yesterday, Donald Trump gave what was billed as a BIG speech on his views of foreign policy. Within moments of his conclusion, foreign policy experts from around the world were shaking their heads and wondering if the policy had been formulated by Sarah Palin and a class of second graders. Here are just a few of the glaring inconsistencies in the speech:

Promoting Democracy

Trump proclaimed “we are getting out of the nation-building business,” and then a few seconds later he said:

“I will work with our allies to reinvigorate western values and institutions”

OK, so you’re gonna withdraw from the world stage, but then you’re gonna turn around and spread western values. Wow, that is gonna be not just difficult, but impossible.

Relations With the Islamic World

Trump has said on several occasions that he would ban Muslims from entering the United States if he is elected President, but then had the audacity to declare in his speech that countries in the Middle East must meet us halfway:

“Thas to be a two-way street. They must also be good to us and remember us and all we are doing for them.”

How exactly are you being good to someone when you tell them you don’t want any of their people to visit your country? That two-way street seems to have a giant sign on it that screams, “ONE WAY ONLY!”

More Lies About Immigration

One of the most ridiculous assertions Trump made yesterday involved a bogus claim that:

“There are scores of recent migrants inside our borders charged with terrorism. For every case known to the public there are dozens and dozens more.”

The Department of Homeland Security says they have no evidence that terrorists have entered the United States. Yet to hear Trump tell it, thousands are already here and waiting to attack. Where did he get his information from on this claim? As of yet the campaign has not said.

Allies? What Allies?

Trump said in his speech:

“America is going to be a reliable friend and ally again.”

But this is the same Donald Trump who has said the NATO alliance is archaic and should be eliminated. He has also said:

“The countries we are defending must pay for the cost of this defense – and, if not, the US must be prepared to let these countries defend themselves.”

Hmm. Blackmail much, Donald?

Face it, this man has no clue when it comes to foreign policy, and in a debate with Hillary Clinton, he will be exposed, humiliated, and turned into a whimpering pile of human excrement, which, as we all know, is his true form.
