Last night at a concert in Brooklyn, Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to Prince with a version of “Purple Rain” that may well be one of the most beautiful and moving things you’ll ever see.
A video posted on YouTube shows the Boss bathed in purple light and singing a stirring rendition of Prince’s signature song. It was how Springsteen began the show at the Barclays Center.
Also yesterday, the remains of Prince were cremated at a private ceremony.
But for now, we can again celebrate the amazing life and career of this musical genius with the help of Bruce Springsteen. Watch and sing along:
