Woman Rams Car Into South Carolina Walmart Because…The Rapture

A woman in Camden, South Carolina rammed her car into a local Walmart because she said she was convinced the world was ending.

Crystal Marshall drove directly into the store on Monday, then jumped out of the vehicle and began screaming at everyone she encountered.

When police arrived, Marshall told them God instructed her to commit the act and that the Rapture was imminent.

Ms. Marshall has been charged with malicious injury to real property and disorderly conduct.

The Rapture is a Christian belief that can be traced back to the final book of the Bible, Revelation. Specifically, it refers to the belief that either before, or simultaneously with, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to earth, believers who have died will be raised and believers who are still alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (the resurrected dead believers) in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
