Princess Diana’s Grandson Steals The Show At Royal Postage Stamp Debut

Stop right there, take a deep breath, and step away from the nastiness. (I know, it’s been a while.) We bring you Prince George, posing for a new British postage stamp series commemorating his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday today. The two were photographed flanked by George’s father, Prince William, and his grandfather, Prince Charles.

The young prince was dressed conservatively as you might expect, and smiled engagingly as he held his father’s hand.

The other royals were seated, yet George still needed a little help to fit in the picture.

He “had to stand on four foam blocks bound together with tape so his head was at roughly the same height as the seated royals,” according to the BBC.

Proving he’s as swoon-worthy as generations before him, the  media is calling him “unbelievably cute” and “adorable.” His late grandmother, Princess Di, would have surely been beaming.

The photographer for the shoot, Ranald Mackechnie, said George “was absolutely charming, as you can see from the picture. You only have a short window of opportunity with small children, but Prince George was on good form…”

The royal family posed last summer in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace. Each royal will be featured on a separate stamp, to be released today. The little prince’s will sell out fast, without a doubt.
