Pay To Be Trump’s Intern, Get Face Time With His Spawn

Donald Trump is a busy man, sham presidential campaigns don’t run themselves. Fortunately, he’s not too busy to auction off an internship at his company, complete with some quality one-on-one time with the Trump kids.

Yes, he’s giving people the opportunity to pay to work for him. Truly, his generosity knows no end. According to the Charitybuzz listing, the winning bidder will have the opportunity to spend 10-weeks working directly for the Trump family. If this doesn’t already sound like hell on earth, it gets better. They also say that:

“During your Summer 2016 internship you will also have the exclusive opportunity to sit down for 15 minutes each with Donald Trump, Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump to pick their brains about how to be successful in the real estate & business world.”

Why they feel it will take each kid 15 minutes to point out that having a father who is ridiculously wealthy is probably the best way to be successful in business remains a mystery.

The listing promises the prospective intern first-hand exposure to the Trump Organization and even a series of power group lunches with each department head. This is all included in the estimated auction value of $100,000.

The current bid is only $40,000, which still seems like a ridiculous amount of money to pay for the joy of “answering phones, running physical errands, and data entry.”

To be fair to the Trump’s, the auction funds will be going to the Eric Trump Foundation to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is definitely a worthwhile cause, but apparently not worthwhile enough for the Trump family to just accept money from anyone willing to bid.

The listing specifies that the prospective intern;

“Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or graduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA,” and must also, “be comfortable working in close proximity & communicating effectively with high-net worth and/or high-profile individuals.”

The Trump’s don’t want any uneducated poor people paying to work for their organization. In addition to these requirements, the winner must also pass a criminal background check and is still subject to approval by the Trump Organization, which reserves the right to terminate the internship at their discretion, without refund.

The auction ends on April 28th at 3:30 pm.
