Even after a big win in their home state of New York, the Trump clan still had complaints. Donald Trump Jr. claimed that the election process resembled communist China. Those comments were sadly par for the course when it comes to statements from anyone affiliated with that particular last name. Check out the video below.
Sean Hannity didn’t help by opening the floor to such a discussion in the first place. His questioning was leading, as it is widely known that the Trumps have a large distrust in the election process.
“What do you make of all the issues of the last two weeks about delegates? For example, in states like Georgia, South Carolina, places that were kinda long forgotten….”
Donald Trump Jr. obliged, following up with his claims of ignorant farmers and suspicions of communist-like operations:
“Yeah. Well, it’s amazing. When you let the voters vote, we do incredibly well, you know? But when you try and suppress that, it’s a different system… That system made sense 200 years ago…when people lived on a farm… We have to let the American people decide. I mean, it’s actually a joke. I feel like I’m in Communist China sometimes watching this stuff. You know, it’s crazy. When the American people get to vote, we win!”
Trump Jr.’s comments imply that individuals who lived in rural communities centuries ago were not smart enough to directly participate in the voting process. Time and time again, when a member of the Trump family tries to make a point they end being increadibly insulting and offensive, not to mention ignorant.
Trump Jr. also might do well to inform himself of the daily lives of the Chinese people. The United States voting system may have its problems, but comparing it to an authoritarian state shows just how out of touch this family truly is.
