Polls Show That The World Loves President Obama More Than The U.S.

Republicans have been trying to hold Obama back his ENTIRE presidency. He has faced so much backlash from the right it’s pathetic! Unlike the U.S. though, many countries around the world have confidence in him. His numbers in the polls show this. Pew Research polled over 40 countries and rated each country’s confidence in Obama.

The U.S. was listed as having a 58-percent favorable view of Obama and his ability regarding world affairs. Other countries had a higher percentage. For example, Canada was listed at 78-percent and India got 81-percent.

These countries were asked if they trusted Obama to do the right thing. It just seems odd that people from other countries have more confidence in our president than we do. Naturally, Russia was the lowest with 11-percent, but other countries love him.

Here are the top ten countries with the highest ratings for Obama:

  1. The Philippines – 94-percent
  2. South Korea – 88-percent
  3. France – 83-percent
  4. Ghana – 82-percent
  5. Australia – 81-percent
  6. Kenya – 80-percent
  7. Tanzania – 78-percent
  8. Italy – 77-percent
  9. South Africa – 77-percent
  10. Canada – 76-percent

When Bush left office, Western European approval for our president was at an all-time low. Some countries even had less than a 10-percent favorable rating. Today, Europe is more inspired by our president.

Here in the U.S., Republicans just keep trying to make President Obama look bad. They even went so far as to take old poll data and slant it against Obama.

Obama’s approval rating has gotten above 50-percent for the first time in three years. Professor Alan Abramowitz of Emory University, has found that if a president has an approval rating higher than 50-percent at the end of their term, their party is likely to win the election.

The public image of the Republican Party has soured as the president’s approval rating has gone up. During the last three months, the percentage of voters with an unfavorable rating of the GOP has gone from 50-percent to 61-percent, according to CNN polls. By the way, 67-percent of adults have an unfavorable view of Donald Trump.

Hopefully, Obama will be remembered as a good president despite having to fight the GOP during his entire presidency.
