Epic Fail!! Trump Means To Say 9/11, Instead Says 7-11

Today is the New York primary. Donald Trump, who is from New York City, had a massive slip-up during one of his speeches. He made the epic mistake of referring to 9/11 as 7-11.

Seriously, Trump? One has slushies, the other caused the death of over 3,000 people. That is not a thing to mix up. He did have some nice things to say about the brave men and women that were helping that day.

“I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen, down on 7-11, down at the World Trade Center, right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

Check out the video of the incident:

He had another eventful rally in Syracuse on Saturday. Some 300 angry protesters managed to break through the barricades that were setup. They had this catchy slogan, “Hey, hey! We got news! We want Donald Trump out of ‘Cuse!” The protestors stayed through the entire event.

This is not his first gaffe about 9/11. Earlier in the campaign, he said he saw Muslim people in New York City and Washingtion, D.C. celebrating the attack. The fact-checkers jumped on that and proved it false. He even blamed the President George W. Bush for the 9/11 attacks.

Today is the New York primary, there are 96 delegates up for grabs. With both Ted Cruz and John Kasich still running, the convention could be disputed if none of them reach the 1,237 delegates to win the nomination. Trump currently has 744, Cruz has 559, and Kasich has 144. Cruz has been accused of getting delegates illegally by threatening them.

Someone on Twitter took the opportunity to make Trump a new logo to go with this slip of the tongue.

The responses on Twitter are making this gaffe even funnier:
