This one is so heartwarming. This cute little toddler is not happy at all. It’s common for toddlers to get upset, but this one is mad at the sun. Watch the video when you’re ready to have your heart melted.
Jamilah Lemieux, who is the Senior Editor of Ebony Magazine, was out with her young daughter, Naima, in Brooklyn. Naima started to notice the sun setting on the horizon. Naima began to get angry about the sun leaving her because she didn’t want it to go.

Lemieux, knowing this was a great moment, immediately started filming the scene. Naima says, “I want it to come back”. Her mother responds, “He’ll come back tomorrow”. Naima doesn’t like that at all. She corrects her mother because she knows that the sun is a girl.
At this point, Lemieux tries to reason with her daughter. She tries to explain that the sun has to go because it has to shine for children on the other side of the world as well. Her daughter has to share the sun with those kids, but the toddler is not hearing any of it. “No, I don’t want to share the sun!”, she says.
The video is posted to Lemieux’s Twitter and has over 20,000 retweets. She told NewsOne that she wasn’t surprised that Naima was so adamant about the sun being female, because the 3-year-old is already positive about her gender. She’s called a tiny feminist by Lemieux’s friends.
Naima seems like she’s going to be providing even more laughs in the future. Hopefully, Lemieux will remember to record those as well. We’ll make sure to share them with you.
