WATCH: Pres. Obama Mentors Steph Curry

My kids are obsessed with basketball, so I’m a little bit “in the know” about at least some of the biggest stories (and players) going on in the game, but this time I was able to namedrop to the kids: Steph Curry teamed up with Pres. Obama to promote mentorship.

Curry and Obama filmed a PSA together that shows Obama mentoring Curry by showing him how to shoot a basketball (ha) and work on his resume, which hilariously had basketball emojis in the header. They even played a game of Connect Four together, with the president beating Curry, and had some fun with science experiments.

Watch:

The popular Golden State Warriors player isn’t new to hobnobbing with the president. They’ve played golf together and Curry even endured the President’s good-natured teasing on one occasion. Watch:

Curry and his wife also helped First Lady Michelle Obama with her Let’s Move campaign by participating in her hilarious “Turnip For What” skit.
