Indiana Women Hilariously Trolling Their Governor After New Abortions Bill

Last week, Indiana Governor Mike Pence signed a horrible bill HB 1337 into law. It bans abortions based on race or gender of the baby, requires doctors to have admitting privileges at local hospitals, and it requires women carrying babies with lethal anomalies be told about pre-natal hospice care. Oh, yeah: and the law bans women from having abortions because of the babies’ lethal anomalies.

This is not the first ridiculous law Indiana has passed recently. Earlier in the month, the state passed a bill requiring women to pay for cremation or burial of aborted fetuses.

Women are trolling the governor in the most hilarious way about this. They are calling and telling him their status in their reproductive cycle. It has even sparked a Facebook page: Periods For Pence. Some pro-lifers are even saying this bill goes too far. They said it demeans women and lacks compassion. Even some men are participating by calling about their partner’s reproductive cycles.

Here are some of the funny posts from the Facebook page:

“Hello, this is Sue Magina again. I just hit a pothole on I-70. It was a doozy! I’m worried it might have shaken something around up in there, and I wanted to make sure that was addressed in this new abortion law. I knew Governor Pence would be worried. Thanks.”

“I can only think of Legally Blonde and wonder if every ovulation and menstrual emission should be considered reckless abandonment…. This explains the crime scene in my pants.”

Pence said in a statement that meeting with families affected by Down Syndrome inspired him to pass this bill:

“Some of my most precious moments as Governor have been with families of children with disabilities, especially those raising children with Down syndrome. These Hoosiers never fail to inspire me with their compassion and these special children never fail to move me with their love and joy.

“By enacting this legislation, we take an important step in protecting the unborn, while still providing an exception for the life of the mother. I sign this legislation with a prayer that God would continue to bless these precious children, mothers and families.”

This man needs to get God out of his legislative process. Keep up the trolling, ladies and gents!
