Breitbart Writer: We Knew About Cruz Sex Scandal In Feb., Brietbart Refused To Release Story

The National Enquirer, the tabloid everyone loves to hate, released the scandal and blockbuster story of the year. It alleges presidential candidate and Senator Rafael Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was and is having a sordid sex affair with at least five mistresses. On most days the #CruzSexScandal hashtag would flutter through the internet like any other story from a rag publishing cheap sex scandals does.

In this case, sane people and “real journalists” initially dismissed the accusations as being just another fact-free made-up story that is typical of the Enquirer even though it cited “Washington insiders” with private investigators digging into Sen. Cruz’s life to find the women with whom he allegedly had the affair.

Breitbart Has A Problem

Breitbart writer Allum Bokhari would beg to differ with those saying the scandal isn’t true. According to Bokhari, Breitbart editors forced him to hold onto the Cruz sex scandal story that he’s had since February 2, when he initially dropped a hint about a potential Sen. Cruz bombshell on Twitter.

Readers expected the bombshell of a story to follow, but Bokhari took to Twitter two days later to say Breitbart editors refused to publish the story.

As he kept getting inquires, he continued to confirm that it was Breitbart holding up the story, not him.

Then, the Enquirer was the outlet that broke the scandal on March 23, and Bokhari again took to Twitter to complain about getting “scooped.”

What’s a reporter to do when they know something no one else does? Break the story, course, but instead of breaking the story, Breitbart let a tabloid like the Enquirer scoop its own reporter. Bad move since this may turn out to be one of the biggest bombshell stories of the election. Breitbart has yet to release Bokhari’s #CruzSexScandal story to date.

Dominoes Are Falling

Now, it appears that others have jumped on the Enquirer bandwagon to confirm the scandal, and the allegations against Sen. Cruz are true. Drew Johnson, who reported for the Washington Times, confirmed the allegations that Sen. Cruz had an affair with at least two people he knew of on Twitter.

Johnson hinted that he knew about the affairs as early as March 14 in yet another tweet.

According to Sputnik News, the entire thing started on March 11 when the #NeverTrump movement head Rick Wilson was asked by a follower on Twitter when “the thing” would be released, and he replied that he wished he could control it.

According to the report, some of the alleged mistresses have been identified as Katrina Pearson, frontrunner Donald Trump’s (R-N.Y.) national spokesperson, Amanda Carpenter, Sen. Cruz’s former communications director, Sarah Isgur Flores, deputy campaign manager for former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, and “a school teacher and a high-end Austin call girl.

A blurred out photo from the Enquirer story seems to identify Pearson, who has since denied the allegation as “tabloid trash.” The other women include ” Carpenter did not deny the allegations directly, but did call them trash, while the Cruz Campaign is accused of paying off the Fiorina campaign to keep their mouths shut.

Prior Warnings

Previously warned by the hacker group Anonymous, which threatened to expose Sen. Cruz’s sex scandal as a prostitution ring if he didn’t drop out of the race, it’s interesting that all of a sudden, the #CruzSexScandal explodes, as promised – and an alleged prostitute is included.

Sen. Cruz, who has blamed Trump and Roger Stone, a former consultant, as well as Senator Marco Rubio for the #CruzSexScandal getting out, categorically denies the allegation as “complete garbage,” according to Politico.

It doesn’t matter who leaked the story. The can is open, the dominoes are falling, and Sen. Cruz must address the various independent confirmations of the scandal to the public’s satisfaction. On the other hand, Breitbart has an obligation to its readers and reporters to explain why it allowed the Enquirer scoop one of its own.
