If you watched the Democratic debate last night, then you may well have seen 15-year-old Sebastien de la Cruz sing the national anthem. He did a superb job with what can be a very challenging song for many singers due to the highs and lows you have to hit if you want to do justice to theĀ anthem.
And de la Cruz had not even hit the last note of “The Star Spangled Banner” when Twitter lit up with hatred and the kind of anti-Mexican rhetoric that has become the calling card of GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Keep in mind that de la Cruz is a Mexican-American, meaning he too is a citizen of this country:
.CNN this is the dumbest thing I've quite possibly ever saw. For a minute I forgot I was in #America until they sang the national anthem.

Wouldn't it be fitting for the democratic debate if the national anthem of mexico had been sung instead of the national anthem of the US?

Yes, the hatred virus is spreading like wildfire across America, and it is now infecting millions. All the more reason Donald J. Trump must be defeated decisively at the ballot box.
