BREAKING: Nancy Reagan Has Passed Away At 94


Nancy Reagan has passed away. TMZ first broke the story, as they learned the news from a close family member. Mrs. Reagan was living in Bel Air and had been in failing health in recent years.

Nancy Reagan was a former actress, starring in B movies in the 40’s and 50’s, before she met her future husband Ronald Reagan, also an actor, and President of Screen Actor’s Guild. She married him in 1952, and they had two children together.

She went on to become the First Lady of the United States in January 1981.

She was fiercely loyal to Ronald and said to be extremely protective of him.

In one famous moment during Ronald Reagan’s presidency, he was asked a difficult question and Nancy whispered an answer:

“We’re doing the best we can.”

During her time as First Lady, she created the “Just Say No” to drugs campaign.

The Reagans retired to their home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California in 1989. Nancy spent most of her time to caring for her ailing husband, diagnosed in 1994 with Alzheimer’s disease, until he passed away at age 93 in 2004.

Nancy Reagan remained active within the Reagan Library and in politics, particularly in support of embryonic stem cell research, until the end. RIP, Mrs. Reagan.
