When we heard Donald Trump make horribly degrading comments about women on the campaign trail, a lot of us wondered how anyone could refer to women in this way and even think about running for president. Well, it turns out that the Donald has been at this for a long time. BuzzFeed has obtained more than a decade of clips from Trump’s appearances on Howard Stern’s show in which Trump made similarly outrageous comments–with Stern’s encouragement. This only adds to the voluminous evidence that Trump is manifestly unfit for office.

In 2005, for instance, Trump and Stern discussed the cast of “Desperate Housewives.” Trump suggested that Nicollette Sheridan wasn’t that attractive because of her flat chest.

He also panned Carmen Electra’s then-recent breast job.

Later in 2005, Trump harrumphed that if his then-new wife, Melania, gave him any more children, he’d leave their care entirely to her.

During the same show, he suggested that you wouldn’t find a lot of rocket scientists among the contestants at the Miss USA pageant. This probably adds to the evidence that he doesn’t think too much of women who dare to question him (like Megyn Kelly).

In 2008, Trump and Stern had a long conversation about Madonna that branched off into breast surgery. Trump thinks that any woman who wants smaller breasts is “insane.”

And not only that, women literally throw themselves at him on the street.

Apparently The Washington Post’s editorial board must have gotten wind of BuzzFeed’s discoveries, because it all but begged the Republican establishment to find a way to derail Trump. In apparent response, Republican National Committee communications chief Sean Spicer told Politico that if Trump does win the nomination, RNC officials will make it very clear to him that “no nominee can win without the party.” His boss, RNC chairman Reince Priebus, has already started telling people in private that the party always has some leverage over its standard-bearer.

After reading this, I’m convinced that Priebus and the RNC are seriously delusional. They shouldn’t be trying to find leverage over Trump. They should be calling for him to get out of the race. After all, what message does it send to the nation and the world when a major party’s standard-bearer is a man who is on record as saying such outrageously degrading things about women? This only adds to the evidence that the GOP has become a far-right party.
