A bizarre poster of President Obama which criticizes and compares him to cigarettes has been spotted in Moscow.
The aim of the poster seems to be to not only deter the public from smoking but to condemn Obama as a mass murderer.
The poster features a large picture of Obama’s face as he smokes a cigarette emblazoned with the slogan:
“Smoking kills more people than Obama, although he kills lots and lots of people.”
Dmitry Gudhov, the liberal opposition MP in the Russian parliament, posted an image of the poster, which he spotted displayed at a bus shelter on Moscow’s third ring road, to his Facebook page earlier this week.
Dmitry expressed his own view on the image and wrote that it was “disgusting and embarrassing that this is appearing on the streets of the Russian capital.”
The poster also stated “don’t smoke, don’t be like Obama,” and Gudhov speculated that “soon they’ll be scaring kids with Obama,” rather than villainous characters from Russain folk tales.
The poster has no attribution and as of yet, nobody has come forward to take responsibility for it.
The poster that compares Obama to cigarettes is the most recent in a string of racist and anti-American campaigns that have personally targeted the President.
Just last week a “Stop Obama” video was posted which featured a sign stating that Obama “kills 875 people a week” and last month a banner labelling Obama as a “killer” was hung opposite the U.S. Embassy in the center of Moscow.
The string of hate campaigns against Obama all send out the same message and condemn him as a violent mass murderer who shows no compassion to humanity.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that smoking causes around 6 million deaths each year therefore this most recent comparison of Obama to this silent killer is not one that should be taken lightly.
