We’ve all heard some incredibly bizarre conspiracy theories in the week since Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead in his room at a Texas hunting camp, but this one may be the most wacked-out so far.
Rick Wiles, a so-called “end times” pastor who also has a TV show, now says that he can prove President Obama murdered Scalia as part of a pagan ritual. How does Wiles know this? Simple: He used numerology to reach his conclusion.
Wiles began his explanation by announcing:
“The 13th was the 44th day of 2016. Obama is the 44th president of the United States, so you have this numerology thing taking place.”
OK, first of all, so freaking what?! And secondly, aren’t Christians supposed to eschew things such as numerology? Must have something to do with that whole “mark of the beast” thing and the number 666.
Wiles also informed his viewers that President Obama told the assassin he sent to murder Scalia leave the pillow over the judge’s face (the pillow was not on Scalia’s face according to witnesses):
“As a message to everybody else: ‘Don’t mess with us, we can murder a justice and get away with it.'”
Wait, it gets better, and more ridiculous. Wiles then added this bit of paranoid drivel:
“Deep down they know, the regime murdered a justice…This is the way a dictatorial, fascist, police state regime takes control of a nation. Barack Obama is the most lawless president we have ever had in the history of this great country.”
Dictatorial? Fascist? Police state? That sounds a lot more like the kind of country that is envisioned by Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, and the other GOP clowns who are seeking the White House in 2016. It also sounds a great deal like what we had to endure for eight years of Bush and Dr. Evil Dick Cheney.
So consider yourself warned: The pagan murder rituals are now taking place and you never know who could be next. Rick Wiles is working on the numbers and should have another pronouncement within a few days.
