Most people would agree that the definitive Bernie Sanders impression is done by Larry David, and I would certainly agree with that. But then I saw Jimmy Fallon do an impression of the Senator from Vermont and I gotta tell you, Fallon is giving Larry David a run for his money.
Bernie is suddenly a very hot commodity. Pundits used to ask, Can he win the Democratic nomination? Now that questions has changed to, Can Hillary hold back his challenge?
Full disclosure here: I am a Bernie Sanders supporter, but I can easily vote Hillary if she wins the nomination. All I have to do is look at the assorted nutjobs running for the Republicans and I quickly realize just how urgent it is that we replace President Obama with another Democrat.
Think about this: The next President will probably get to appoint as many as four new justices to the Supreme Court. Four progressives could change the direction of the court for the better. But four justices in the mold of Scalia or Thomas would mean this country moves backwards and more in the control of special interests and big business.
