MSNBC Host Schools The Donald: ‘The Great Wall Of China Was Built With Slave Labor’

If there’s anything Donald Trump loves talking about, it’s the big wall he plans to build on the border between the United States and Mexico. It was this wall–and his comments about Mexican immigrants being “rapists”– that first catapulted Trump to frontrunner status last year when he announced he was seeking the 2016 GOP nomination.

And today during an appearance on MSNBC, host Tamron Hall gave the Donald a history lesson on his proposed wall and the one that exists in China. Hall began by asking:

“You’ve talked a lot about building this wall, a very big wall. How much will the wall cost?”

Trump replied that his estimates are $8 billion for his beloved wall, and he added that this was a “fraction of the money that we lose with Mexico.”

That’s when Hall hit Trump with some cold reality mixed with historical fact:

“But you’re doing construction numbers, not real numbers. You bring up, for example, the Great Wall of China that was built with slave labor. You don’t have that in the United States.”

The Donald, who can never admit that he’s wrong, even though he so often is, responded:

“I think it’s a good example. We can build a Great Wall.”

While she had Trump sitting for an interview, Hall also confronted him over his use of the word “pussy” to describe Ted Cruz. Again, Trump tried to shift the blame to others:

“I was repeating something somebody said from the audience, and it was cute. A woman kept shouting a certain word so I repeated it, and people had a lot of fun.”

Well, as long as everyone had a good time, no big deal! But Tamron Hall was equal to the challenge and wondered:

“Many would say, ‘What will Donald Trump do to the presidency if he’s willing to on stage say something like that and other comments that I could laundry list here?'”

Did Trump back away from his statement or apologize? Certainly not! He merely ended with this bit of bull:

“When you get to be president — or just before you get to be president — the attitude would change very much. Right now, we are in a very combative stage, and we also want to have a little fun.”

The only people having fun, Donald, are you and your moronic supporters. But hey, that’s all that matters to a narcissist like you.
