Mark January 27, 2016 on your calendar, because this may wind up being the day that the tide began to turn against Donald Trump. And it happened in Iowa, too. How perfect is that?

Andrew Joseph Alemao was arrested by University of Iowa police after he was accused of throwing two tomatoes at the Trump. He is being held at the Johnson County Jail on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.

Alemao was also wearing a T-shirt with the words, “Heil Trumpler” written across the front. He was arrested both by police and the Secret Service, which means he could face 30 days in jail and a fine if he is convicted on the charge.

As the protester was being led away by police, Trump remarked:

“Get ’em outta here!”

The cheers and jeers of Trump supporters gave the scene the feel of a rally in Nuremberg, Germany, circa the 1930s.

It should be noted that Trump has decided not to participate in the next GOP debate on January 28 because Fox News host Megyn Kelly will be one of the moderators. As usual, the Donald is unable to tolerate anyone asking him any tough questions because he is too thin-skinned and self-obsessed to ever admit that he might be wrong.

If there truly is any justice and karma in the universe (and I am a firm believer there is), then this will be the day when momentum turned against Trump and his followers. If not, this country should prepare for some very dark days ahead.
