Jeb! Blames Black Crime On Bad Parenting, Then Says His Kids’ Crimes Aren’t His Fault

Seems like Jeb Bush has a selective memory and also doesn’t fully understand the meaning of the word hypocrisy.

Not long ago, Bush was asked about protests in Baltimore and Ferguson after the deaths of young black men at the hands of police. Bush responded:

“Kids in this country are aimlessly wandering around in their lives because they’ve never been told they were capable of learning. They’ve never been challenged to achieve far better. They’ve never really had the kind of mentoring and nurturing that gives them the sense their lives could be betterYou see what happens in Baltimore and Ferguson. You see the tragedies play out. You see people becoming so despondent they take actions that are horrific.”

Yep, gotta be the fault of the parents. Blame the parents, especially if they’re black.

A few months later, Jebbie was doing a TV interview with a station in Miami:

“During an interview with CBS Miami, the topic of Jeb’s daughter Noelle came up. Jeb was asked by the interviewer about his daughter’s criminal past and multiple issues with drugs. The interviewer specifically asked if Jeb felt that during his time away from home campaigning and during his tenure as Governor,  if he didn’t have enough time for his family – and if that made him feel personally responsible for his daughter’s problems.”

Give ya three guesses what Bush said, and the first two don’t count. Here’s his reply:

“I can’t blame myself. That’s not gonna solve any problems, and you just can’t do that.”

No, you can’t blame yourself, especially when you’re trying to run for President!

Here’s a short primer on the felonious actions of Noelle Bush:

In 2002, Noelle was arrested for trying to forge a Xanax prescription in Tallahassee. She was sentenced to rehab. In July 2002, she was again jailed for violating her probation by breaking the rules of her rehab program. Then, in October 2002, Noelle was jailed again for when she was found in possession of crack cocaine while in the rehab center. In 2003, she finally completed the rehab program. Now she works as an executive at one of Jeb’s companies.

It’s good to be the king!

It should also be noted that Bush’s son, George P. Bush was arrested for breaking and entering his ex-girlfriend’s home while intoxicated. He was 18 at the time and skated free when no charges were pressed.

So if you’re a black kid involved in crime, your parents are to blame. But if you’re the son or daughter of Jeb Bush, it sure as hell ain’t daddy’s fault.

Now that’s a double standard wrapped in a big heaping helping of hypocrisy.
