Wherever “jihad” is mentioned, Americans tend to expect to hear about Muslims taking up arms in defense of their faith. This was not the case, however, when the leader of the Islamic State – Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, made a call for all Muslims to “join the fight.”
In an unverified audio recording released by al-Baghdadi after over seven months of silence, he was heard urging all adherents to join the fight. However, in a funny twist, the “target audience” complained that the message came in at a busy time of the year, and that they had other plans.
Twitter was rife with reasons given by the adherents and some of the excuses bordered on the hilarious, like these:

It seems that hard-knocks received in the past couple of months by ISIS hasn’t ended quite yet.
