Veterans Day Google Doodle Makes Racist Heads Explode (WARNING: NSFW)

On Veterans Day, Google users in the United States saw a Google Doodle portraying several servicemen and veterans. It caused the racist–er, white nationalist–site Stormfront to go into full meltdown.

The title of the thread on Stormfront gives you a pretty good indication of where this was going: “Google homepage supports white genocide.” The Doodle portrayed a light-skinned Latina, three blacks, two Asians, and one person of mixed race. As far as OP beast9 was concerned, it was a sign that Google showed “blatant support for multiculturalism, diversity, and white genocide.” Later, he claimed to be a veteran who was “appalled” at Google’s “anti white message.”

It got little better from there. Here’s a sample of some of the other comments:

“Whites comprised most of the troops serving in America’s war efforts throughout the nation’s history. I suppose ‘social justice’ means turning a blind eye to such inconvenient facts…”
“Whites have overwhelmingly staffed, run, fought and died in America’s wars but Google would rather remind us how all that was for nothing because the West is now a n****r worshipping multikult anti white cesspit.”
“One could argue that Whites lost one third of our population fighting jewish wars since 1900. Non whites were either in the way or raping White Women.”

For good measure, we even saw a few instances of anti-Semitism thrown in. User TonySS harrumphed, “You can’t expect much else from Joogle”–a swipe at Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who is Jewish. User Diet Cokeaholic conceded that the Latina woman could pass for a white woman, but didn’t think that it was a coincidence that “as the whitest one there, she has a black air force colonel eye****ing her.”

According to Vocativ’s Brian Patrick Byrne, it’s not the first time racist heads have exploded over multicultural Google Doodles. The anti-Semitic site Infostormer had a hissy fit over last year’s Veterans Day Doodle, which depicted a white soldier saluting alongside four soldiers of other races. As far as Infostormer’s Lee R. was concerned, it was no surprise that a “Jew run” site like Google would put out an “anti-white” image, since it “didn’t seem to care” that most soldiers are white. Last year, the Christmas Doodle seen in most of the world showed white, black, and Asian children in a sleigh. A Stormfront user from Australia whined that Australia was “a white Christian nation,” and having non-white kids in a Doodle was “an insult to all Australians.”

I have to wonder if these knuckledraggers be so high and mighty if they were in danger, and a minority reached out to help them–as happened this summer in South Carolina.
