Jeb Bush responded on Fox & Friends to a statement made by Hillary Clinton by making some absurd and false claims about Christianity.
Clinton’s statement, made during an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” attempted to explain the need to neutralize some of the inflamed sense of fear and hatred toward the Muslim community. George Stephanopoulos questioned her about her reluctance to use the phrase “radical Islamics” when talking about ISIL.
“The problem is that that sounds like we are declaring war against a religion…There are radicals, people who believe all kinds of things, in every religion in the world.”
Jeb Bush took exception to this, despite its accuracy, and pointed out why during his segment on Fox & Friends. The reason for his disapproval became the subject of a Twitter debate.
"The idea that somehow there are radical elements in every religion is ridiculous.” –@JebBushhttps://t.co/cwz03phbZb

Jeb Bush actually said during that segment:
“There are no radical Christians that are organizing to take down Western civilization.”
Twitter users quickly responded, eviscerating that falsehood.
Three people, including a police officer, were shot and killed by Robert Louis Dear last month due to a Christian ideology that says that a woman’s right to choose is so heinous, so offensive to the Christian God, that murdering abortion providers is holy and righteous. Dear is not the only person in modern history to hold this belief. In fact, most terrorist acts are not committed by people of Islamic faith.
