So this is what we’ve come to in America? People are now being harassed just because they used their SNAP benefit card to buy groceries and some major-league asshat has a problem with them buying steak?
In Pennsylvania, a man drove up as some people were leaving an ACME market and began by telling them:
“Some shit’s not even funny. And this is one of them situations.”
Then, as the three people are getting ready to load the groceries into their vehicle, this moron says:
“Yo, dude. Yo, I noticed you bought your groceries with a welfare card, but then you used cash to buy lottery tickets. You used the Access card to buy your groceries and then you bought scratch-off tickets with cash. You think that’s right?”
To which one of the three shoppers responds:
“So what. What the f*ck’s your problem?”
Mr. Cannot Mind His Own Business tells the shopper:
“Why are you using a welfare card to buy food, but then you’re buying scratch-off lottery tickets with cash?”
Once more, the nosy dillhole is told to mind his own business, so he starts yelling:
“It is my f*cking business! I pay taxes!”
When the woman who is part of the trio tells Nosy Nathan to go f*ck himself, the jerk then begins to berate her:
“Wow, pregnant, smoking, and pajama pants? You’re like a triple-f*ckup.”
As if all of this isn’t more than enough to enrage you, the moron then begins going through the grocery cart, pulls out a steak, walks away with it, and declares:
“Steak is for taxpayers. F*ck you.”
No matter whether you agree with the concept of Food Stamps or not (and I most certainly do and always will), no one has a right to steal another person’s property simply because he disagrees with that they’ve purchased. No one!
And it would help if this human pustule who stuck his nose where it didn’t belong knew this fact about the Food Stamp program: A taxpayer who earns $50,000 a year pays approximately $36 for others to have those benefits. About $3 a month.
We live in the richest nation in the world. If a single person goes to bed hungry in the United States, then we are a failure as a civilized society.
