Iraq Vet Identified As One Of Three Victims Killed In Right-Wing Terrorist Attack At Colorado PP

According to a friend of the family, 29-year-old Iraq vet Ke’Arre Stewart was one of three victims killed in a right-wing domestic terrorist attack Friday against a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Stewart survived a tour in Iraq after graduating from La Vega High School, in Texas, back in 2004, only to be killed in a terrorist attack right here on American soil, and as the public well knows at this point, that attack was not carried out by Syrian refugees or some other trumped-up boogeyman, but by one of our very own ‘Merican extremists on the far right, courtesy of conservative propaganda and media pumping dubious, highly edited videos claiming Planned Parenthood harvests and sells “baby parts.” Reports are now even coming out that the domestic terrorist Robert Lewis Dear could be heard by authorities mumbling, “No more baby parts.”

America, this is your lunatic fringe and it’s time to face it, claim him, and see what can be done to make sure those so easily fooled and influenced don’t commit such atrocities in the future.

Stewart, the father of two, had been living in Colorado because he was stationed at Fort Hood. Friend Eric Cross Sr., back in Texas, who has known Stewart since sixth grade said, “He moved to Colorado because he was stationed there, but he stayed because he loved it.” He added, “He was the only sixth grader with a goatee,” and said, “He loved his daughters to death. He would do anything for them.”

Another friend of Stewart’s who is the same age as the late victim and who has known him since he was 11 years old, stated, “He was a stand-up guy. If you were hungry, he fed you. If you were cold and needed a ride, he was just there. He was a good friend and an amazing listener.”

Yep, according to those who knew him, Stewart was a loving and well-loved individual known for his athleticism in high school, when he ran track and played both football and basketball.

“He was smart. He always wanted the best life had to offer for him and those around him,” Cross said, who’d spoken to his old friend only a week before the incident that took his life. He said, “Even though he had a lot going on, he was still in good spirits. He was someone you could just sit and talk to about life. He will be greatly missed.”

Friend Amburh Butler said she realized Stewart had been killed in the terrorist attack after word started circulating around her old classmates via text message. Out of respect for her fallen friend, she created a Go Fund Me page to help with his burial expenses, saying, “Blood couldn’t make us any closer.”

Where do we go from here, America?
