Watch This 5-Year-Old Professional Drummer Play System Of A Down’s ‘Chop Suey’

This past year I covered three amazing girls that covered Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” As I said before, it was a favorite song of mine in high school, and every time I listen to it I think of those three girls.

And now, there’s another little girl in the world that’s BLOWN my mind.

Eduarda Henklein Baterista (what a name!) is an adorable five-year-old girl hailing from Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil that just so happens to be better on drums than quite a lot of adults. She is definitely on the scale of a professional drummer.

Need proof? This video of her playing System of a Down’s classic “Chop Suey” (also a high school favorite) is all you need to see. With no band to accompany her, she completely owns the stage. I’ve hollered various cuss words at my monitor marveling over this, and I can’t get enough. I’m watching now for the fourth time. She’s got a streak of badass running through her veins; however, she looks angelic while lip-synching the words. I can barely type while talking on the phone, and this five-year-old can completely destroy a System of a Down song on drums WHILE lip synching.

Enjoy both videos below. In one she covers, System of a Down’s “Chop Suey” and in the other she covers their other hit “Toxicity.” She’s definitely not a one-trick pony.
