WATCH: How Do Animals See The World?

When I watch my dog run around the yard or steal a pair of socks from the laundry pile, I sometimes wonder what he sees. Does he see some colors and not others? Is he as weird as I sometimes suspect? It turns out that every living creature views the world in a special way. A bird sees ultraviolet light, while a shark doesn’t see colors at all. It’s hard to look beyond our own eyes, but a video can help us visualize these distinctions.
