Donald Trump shared a meme Sunday night on Twitter with some incredibly awful (and false, by the way) statistics about people of color and crime…because of course he did. The tweet was shared on the same day that a Black Lives Matter protester was physically assaulted at a Trump campaign rally, to which Trump responded “Maybe he should have been roughed up.”
Never mind the fact that the FBI statistics completely debunk the statements made in this meme and that the “Crime Statistics Bureau – San Francisco” doesn’t exist, it’s the source from which Trump shared the meme that will blow your mind.

After researching the source of the meme on Twitter, The New Civil Rights Movement stated:
“The Republican frontrunner for president of the United States is now spreading the lies from a neo-Nazi. Trump likely didn’t know the origins of the image, but he also didn’t bother to check. Nor did he both to check its validity, which is the real issue. He saw something that supported his world view and tweeted it.”
It’s astounding to think that Trump is still the frontrunner, but is anyone else surprised that he’s becoming this openly racist?
