If you’ve ever been on Twitter and said anything bad about Donald Trump, then you’ll know that his supporters/trolls/online asshats can be more than a little obnoxious and even downright scary in their defense of the Donald.
Recently, Montel Williams decided to devote a few days to taking on (and taking down) some of the Trump Troll contingency, setting off the war with this posting:
If the Government ever makes Muslims carry ID cards or shuts down mosques, I will have no choice but to take up arms against my government.
— Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) November 21, 2015
That certainly brought the mean out of Trump’s minions, many of whom accused Williams of being a subversive and a liberal who would never take up arms for any reason. To which Montel replied:
What did u have trouble understanding the 1000 times I've posted I'm a proud, responsible gun owner? https://t.co/09mPlsL0wp
— Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) November 21, 2015
In case you didn’t know, Montel Williams is a veteran and a proud gun owner who advocates for responsible gun ownership in America, something so many on the extreme right cannot seem to comprehend.
Next we see the trolls attempting to change the topic:
Perfectly and logically, Williams responded:
Should we let known radical churches stand? Some of this nonsense on the right makes me wonder. https://t.co/XBrAHInsUb
— Montel Williams (@Montel_Williams) November 21, 2015
Then, one by one, Montel swatted away the ignorance and intolerance that bubbled up in the Trump Trolls:
Telling you folks, we have way more to fear from this crowd of malcontent rednecks than we do refugees https://t.co/YQXilSEvG7

Nope but if you'd like I'll gladly show just how crazy the wacko right is on my mentions right now. Unabashed racism https://t.co/C7ozcT7xSF

I say good for Montel Williams. Someone needs to try and counter the vile hatred that is now circulating in this country under the guise of “Making America Great Again.” As I have said before and will continue to say, Trump is the most divisive and dangerous candidate to seek the White House since George Wallace.
It’s up to all of us to fight against this racist, xenophobic brand of poison before it envelops and utterly destroys this country.
