Trump Goes Medieval: I’ll Bring Back Waterboarding To Stop Syrian Refugees

Let’s establish the basic parameters before we start examining the latest crazy thing that has been puked into existence by Donald Trump.

Here are the indisputable facts regarding Trump:

  • He’s insane. Face it, he is. He needs to be tranquilized, placed in a straitjacket, and held at Bellevue for observation.
  • He’s the biggest egomaniac and narcissist on the planet. The world, according to Trump, should revolve around him.
  • He may well turn out to be the most dangerous man to ever seek political office in the history of the republic.
  • If elected, he would (in my opinion) transform this country into a totalitarian police state. Think 1984 on steroids.
  • He will only get more outrageous and dangerous the closer we get to the 2016 election.

Excuse Me While I Say This

Earlier this week, Trump suggested it might be a super idea to make all American Muslims carry and/or wear some form of identification which shows their religious belief. Last time this was tried: Nazi Germany. How did that turn out?

And Now We Have This

Today, appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Trump said he would bring back waterboarding as a way to counter Syrian refugees coming to the United States as some form of “Trojan horse.” Specifically, he said:

“When the Syrian refugees are going to start pouring into this country, we don’t know if they’re ISIS, we don’t know if they’re a Trojan Horse. I want to see a database and other checks and balances. We want to go with watch lists, we want to go with databases, and we have no choice.”

Wrong, wrong, wrong, a thousand times wrong! We do have a choice! No nation has to resort to tyranny as a way to manage its own security.

More On Trojan Horses

Then Trump farted forth with another mention of a Trojan horse, which seems to be a preoccupation with him:

“It could be the great Trojan Horse of all time. When I look at the [immigration] line, I see all strong powerful men. And I see very few women, and I see very few children. There’s something strange going on. And if you look at what’s happening in Europe, a lot of bad things are happening in Europe.”

A lot of bad things are happening in Beirut, too, but he neglected to mention those. Or what happened in Mali. Or what happened in this country on September 11, 2001 when mostly Saudi Arabian terrorists killed over 3,000 people on our own soil.

What About Women and Children?

George Stephanopoulos then told Trump the Turdbrain that the majority of the refugees are women and children and asked, Would you bring back waterboarding, which was banned when President Obama became President? Trump did not hesitate before he replied:

“We have to be strong. You know, they don’t use waterboarding over there, they use chopping off people’s heads, they use drowning people. I would bring it back, I think waterboarding is peanuts compared to what they do to us. I would absolutely bring back interrogation and strong interrogation.”

Hey, Donald, the only peanuts are the ones we hear rattling around in that empty gourd which sits atop your shoulders. You are a very dangerous man with incredibly dangerous ideas. For your own sake, and for the future of America, seek professional help immediately.
