Muslim U.S. Marine Shows Donald Trump His Military ID, Asks ‘Where’s Yours’

Donald Trump has been on a roll this week. First he said that Muslims should carry an ID as the Jews in Nazi Germany were forced to do and then he even suggested that we make a database of U.S. Muslims. One man has had enough — and he’s a Muslim U.S. Marine.

Sgt. Tayyib Rashid, who is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, didn’t appreciate Trump’s comments and he took to Twitter to vent.

The Daily Mail reports that Rashid posted the tweet when he heard that Trump wants to track U.S. Muslims.

As most of you know, Trump skipped out on military service, earning four deferments during the Vitenam War. He was a college student and after finishing school, he was declared medically unfit to serve in the military.

From Raw Story:

Trump’s vow to identify and track American Muslims drew comparisons to Nazis forcing Jewish citizens to wear badges on their clothing identifying them. A Rhode Island Republican took things a step further this week when she said Syrian refugees should be rounded up and placed in camps — a sentiment echoed by other GOP colleagues.

I love that they also called him “the former reality television star and beauty pageant runner.”

Screw you, Donald Trump. Let’s all head over to Twitter to thank this soldier.
