Shocking! Killer Calls TV Station And Confesses To 33-Year-Old Felony Murder (VIDEO)

A man decided to call a TV station and admit to a 33-year-old cold case involving a felony murder. All those involved were shocked, but relieved.

Carrie Ann Jopek, a 13-year-old girl from Wisconsin, died in 1982.  Jopek went to a house party after being suspended from middle school. It was at this house party that she was ultimately murdered and buried underneath the porch of the house where the party took place. Sadly, it was not for another year that the girl’s body was found.

The police had some suspicion that the 17-year-old Jose Ferreira had been the person that murdered her. In fact, a neighbor saw him standing over the victims grave. But because Ferreira maintained he was unaware of the murder they were unable to make an arrest.

Fast forward 33 years, the present, and Ferreira for some unknown reason decided to call a local TV station and confess. He described to the reporters a detailed description of the murder. The reporters immediately called the police.

WISN reports that Ferreira has already made an initial court appearance after being arrested. It sadly became apparent that the poor girl was murdered for refusing to have sex with this monster. Ferreira claims to have been shoving the girl into the basement when she tripped and broke her neck.

Ferreira has been charged with second-degree murder. Prosecutors stated that the now 50-year-old Ferreira is a flight risk, and because of this they asked the judge to keep him in custody and set his bail to a very high amount.

Hopefully this means that the family of this poor girl will receive some closure after these surely difficult last 30 years.
