Dr. Ben Carson made headlines recently when he basically told every Muslim American that they were not good enough to be president of the United States.
“Christians” like Carson are always looking for an “adversary” to hammer the nails into their Walmart-made crosses. They cry and whine about prosecution while unapologetically imposing their twisted religious views on the rest of the country. People like Carson proclaim that we are a “Christian Nation!”
So, imagine how a Muslim kid must feel growing up listening to people like Ben Carson denigrate their faith? Apparently, Carson crossed one Muslim boy’s line when he said that a Muslim should never be president.
The young man in this video is Yusuf Dayur. He still has a long way to go when it comes to public speaking; however, the young man has passion, as well as insight and compassion. Even this 12-year-old child could see how wrong it is to discriminate against people because of their faith. Hopefully, this young man will grow up to see the other forms of discrimination the GOP advocates as equally UN-American. In the meantime, however, young Yusuf managed to take Carson to school, saying this:
“Mr. Carson, what if someone told you that you couldn’t become president because of your color? What if someone told you that you couldn’t become president because of your race? What if someone told you that you couldn’t become president because of your faith? That’s what you did to me.”
Yusuf goes on to say that Carson “shattered” his dream of becoming Commander in Chief; however, it didn’t take him long to rebuild that dream with an even stronger conviction. Yusuf says:
“People would say that black people couldn’t become president. Guess what? I’m black and I’m Muslim … I will break that Muslim boundary. I will become the first Muslim president.”
Here’s Yusuf’s video. I hope you’re paying attention Mr. Carson, your grandchildren may be calling him Mr. President one day.
