Jamie Kilstein is a writer, radio host, and comic. And he has just released a new album which is entitled, “F*ck the NRA.” On Wednesday, he performed the title track at Joe’s Pub in New York, and the first line of the song is enough to get your attention:
“If you need a gun to prove how tough you are. You’re a f*cking coward.”
Amen to that, Jamie!
On another track, called “Our horrifying options for President,” Kilstein punks the entire 2016 class of GOP candidates, singing:
“Dear Presidential candidates, why you all gotta be such f*cking assholes?”
And then this brilliant comedian proceeds to call out each and every one of the Republicans running for President:
“Every time Rand Paul speaks, I can’t hear what he’s saying over his dad issues.”
“Scott Walker hates workers as much as I hate Scott Walker.”
“The only thing that could possibly be more New Jersey than Chris Christie, is Bruce Springsteen f*cking a pile of garbage.”
“Would anyone be surprised if Mike Huckabee guitar strings were made out of the skin of children? He wouldn’t even go to jail. He’d claim Jesus made him do it and TLC would give him a reality show.”
“Does Donald Trump know what a Mexican is. When he says Mexicans rape our women, does he think ‘all Mexicans’ mean one Bill Cosby?”
Yes, Jamie Kilstein is right on the edge with his humor, but in today’s political climate, isn’t that what we need most of all?
