‘Stop Trying To Fix The Police, Fix The Ghetto’ — Black Milwaukee Sheriff Blames Obama For Killer Cops

Anyone who hasn’t been stranded on a deserted island for the past 20 years knows that Fox News will sink to very low levels to push their form of “fair and balanced” reporting. So with the recent string of police officers being shot and killed, the propaganda machine was sure to get rolling.

Now here is where the Milwaukee County Sheriff, David Clarke, comes in. Sheriff Clarke is Fox’s perfect guest to spread the division and hate that Fox themselves love to blame others for. What could be better than a black sheriff who puts down President Obama at every turn and seems to actually believe that the Obama administration and black people are to blame for police brutality?

In fact, Gwen Moore wrote this of Sheriff Clarke for The Daily Beast in June of this year:

“It’s clear that Fox News and Sheriff Clarke have developed a symbiotic relationship. He needs the cable news network for its national platform; Fox needs a black sheriff to give voice to the dog-whistle narratives its anchors dare not vocalize themselves.”

This assessment could not be clearer after Clarke’s appearance on “Fox and Friends” just days ago. Speaking about the recent tragic murder of Texas Deputy Darren Goforth, as well as others, host Brian Kilmeade set Clarke up for another one of his hateful rants by asking:

“Can you give us an idea what that does for law enforcement when you see this assassination take place?”

Clarke begins by saying:

“Well let me start here. First of all the headline is “Black man shoots white defenseless police officer”. Because I get sick and tired when it’s the other way around when an officer defends his life, they always point out that it’s a white officer shooting an unarmed black suspect.”

Well sheriff, if we are going by descriptive headlines, facts are facts, and white officers do shoot black suspects. Many unarmed. Does that make it right to kill a police officer for no reason? No. That said, a short time later Clarke continues by saying:

“President Obama has breathed life into this ugly movement. And it is time now for good law-abiding Americans to rise up like they did in Houston around that Chevron station. An outpouring, but it can’t just be symbolic. We now have to counter this slime, this filth coming out of these cop-haters.”

I can only make an educated guess that he is speaking of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Now the truly amazing statement from Clarke came right after, as Kilmeade asked another leading question regarding President Obama. Kilmeade asked Clarke:

“Well sheriff, a lot of people listening right now would say “no,” President Obama shed light on a problem, and that’s the way blacks are treated by law enforcement in this country for too long. What’s your reaction?”

Sheriff Clarke responded with this head-shaking answer:

“That is a lie. President Obama didn’t shed light on anything. This is nothing more than an attempt to weaken the institution of policing. If there’s anything that needs to be straightened out in this country, it is the sub-culture that has risen out of the underclass in the American ghetto. Fix the ghetto and then you’ll see a lesser need for assertive police officers, policing in these areas, and then you’ll see less confrontation. Stop trying to fix the police, fix the ghetto.”

So there you have it. The police have nothing to do with the problem. It’s the ghetto. Someone clearly needs his meds. I hope people take the time to really listen to what he is saying. For now though, I am going to be looking for my ghetto-fixing wand.
