What is it about Hillary Clinton staffer and campaign vice chairwoman Huma Abedin that attracts the weirdos? I’ve never in my many years of watching politics seen a staffer get as much attention as she does.
It could be because she’s married to a high profile figure who had some serious scandal — she is also the wife of disgraced lawmaker Anthony Weiner — but the abuse of this young woman began even before that when nutjob former Rep. Michele Bachmann attacked her for being an American born and educated Muslim. Well now she’s in Donald Trump’s cross-hairs.
During a fundraiser in Norwood, Massachusetts, Trump went on a rant about Abedin and her husband Anthony Weiner. He is seemingly concerned about Hillary Clinton’s classified email investigation and Huma having access to information.
“Huma is one of the people it all came through. Who is Huma married to? One of the great sleezebags of our time: Anthony Weiner.”
Apparently her husband being a perv makes her suspect. Stoooopid.
“So now — think of it — Huma is getting classified secrets. She is married to Anthony Weiner, who is a perv. Now these are confidential documents and guess what happens to Anthony Weiner. A month ago he went to work for a public relations firm.”
Anyone else think it’s odd that Weiner’s working for a PR firm? But I digress.
“So she’s married to Anthony Weiner. Do you think there is even a 5 percent chance she is not telling Anthony Weiner — now of a public relations firm — what the hell is coming across?” Trump said.
Trump said that Abedin is surely “desperately in love” with her hubby since she stayed with him. He also said that she probably shares everything with her husband.
Donald Trump has married women who haven’t had the kind of important jobs that Huma Abedin has had. She has worked for Hillary Clinton since Clinton was a U.S. senator and has served her in every capacity since.
A spokesman for the Clinton campaign released a scathing statement.

Clinton campaign Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri added this:
“Trump repeated bizarre attack on Huma today. Lots of married men worked at State, why is Huma the one who would pass on secrets to spouse?” she wrote.
