A New Jersey woman recently displayed her political opinions until the very end — all the way to her obituary.

Elaine Fydrych (1952 – 2015) died at the age of 63 in August. In her NJ.com obituary, we learn that she loved theatre, her family, acting…and she hates Hillary Clinton.

“In lieu of flowers, please do not vote for Hillary Clinton”.

Her husband, Joe Fydrych, said this:

“Her “in lieu of flowers” request was a political statement,” Joe said. “It was also a comical punch line or a comical view of the way she looked at the world and her politics.”

Fydrych said that local papers honored her requested obit except for one: the Philadelphia Inquirer left the “Hillary” line out of the death notice. Her husband has contacted the ACLU about it, he says.

He did want to point out that she was an entertainer and a comedian. At her funeral and wake, she arranged to have recorded sound bites played, such as “glad you could make it…how do I look….thanks for coming.”

It’s hard to say what her actual political affiliation is. On her Facebook page, she shares memes from liberal sources along with some religious memes. Who knows? Maybe she’s a Bernie fan.

At any rate, I’m inspired. Expect me to be as snarky in my obit as I am in life.
