Kids Comments On GOP Talking Points – Must See VIDEO

Last week the viral video was a group of senior citizens wrangling with the absurdity of Right Wing Ideas.

This week, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) labor union has outdone themselves with a video with kids comments on various GOP talking points and quotes. The end result is absolutely hilarious.

The video opens with two young ladies reading a John Kasich quote,

“Every time I go to Washington I break out in a cold sweat, so I try not to spend too much time there.”

They giggle, because apparently they’re from that city and think it’s silly.

But I’m wondering – this is a man who wants to be our president, right? The last time I checked, being in Washington is kind of a job requirement for that position. If he is going to break out in a cold sweat every time he is in Washington, are we going to have to pay for him to hire an official presidential brow wiper?

The next young man, after reading a quote from Scott Walker about his justification for denying health care to millions wonders,

“How do you help them live the American Dream if they need the health care to live?”

While another young lady commenting on the same quote adds,

“If I never went to the doctor I’d get sick and die, kind of. . .”

When a young man, quoting Lindsay Graham, says,

“The world is literally about to blow up.”

A young lady answers with a shrug and a look of confusion on her face,

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

I think my favorite is the young man around the one minute mark that reads the Scott Walker quote, “Elections have consequences.” With shocked disbelief and a quick tongue, the kid spells it all out in plain language. You’ll have to watch the video now. No more spoilers.
