Let me say at the beginning of this post that I do not have any tattoos. I almost got a University of Georgia “G” on my right arm many years ago, but I backed out at the last moment. I just didn’t like the way that needle looked, and I am terrified of seeing my own blood.

However, I am not opposed to others getting tattoos, piercings, or whatever other bodily adornments they choose, as long as one of those people is not, in the decades to come, my daughter. Sorry, but you know how dads can be when it comes to their little girls.
