Donald Trump Is A Bully!

Megyn Kelly called out Donald trump at the Republican debates regarding his pattern of abusive behavior towards women. Mr. Trump responded with veiled threats and bad jokes (though, to be fair, the background audience seemed to enjoy it). He followed up after the debates with tweets against Kelly, filled with abusive insults and veiled threats. Donald Trump is ultimately a bully. He may not be a coward, but his concern for his fellow man, his concern for the environment, and his social skills are exactly what you might expect from someone who is both self-centered and insulated by great wealth. (If you really want to be one of the ultra rich, think again.)

Donald Trump has been accused of bullying people on a number of occasions. He often does this publicly, so there is no doubt about the credibility of the accusations. His bullying behavior seems to be a part of his business philosophy, and may have developed over time. Mr. Trump found a way to be successful in business, by bullying his competitors, and his staff. As a personal plus, his ego would get stroked at the same time. It would seem he has carried this philosophy over into his personal life, but that may be an oversimplification. It is much more probable he no longer separates his work life from his personal life. Trump is quite probably a case of “What you see, is what you get.”

Shortly after making the announcement he was running for President, Donald Trump became irritated with Lindsey Graham for calling him a jackass after he had publicly questioned John McCain’s status as a veteran. In a childish act of revenge,  Trump gave out Graham’s private phone number. (Would you want “your” phone number given out at a press conference?)

During an interview on Larry King Live, Donald Trump manipulatively ambushed Larry King by asking, ” Do you mind if I sit back a little, because your breath is very bad. It really is. Has this been told to you before?”

“No,” the stunned show host responded.

“Okay, then. I won’t bother.”

Trump explained his behavior on the show was an example of how to get the edge during negotiations.

Donald Trump has not limited his bad behavior the the United States. After purchasing land for the ‘Trump International Golf Course,’ he took on the local farmers with his insulting behavior. During his rant, one of the people he insulted was a 90 year old woman, and he called a farmer who refused to sell his land,”an embarrassment to Scotland,” and as someone who “lives like a pig.”

There seems to be a special place in Trump’s heart for Latinos. During the announcement of his presidential run, he stated, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re are not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. And they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. (Imagine he had said this about your family and friends.

In the fall of 2012, Angelo Carusone started a petition asking Macy’s to drop Donald Trump as their spokesperson. He cited Donald Trump’s history of sexism and race baiting behavior. Trump’s empty threat of a $25 million law suit was ignored. During an interview, Carusone stated, “No matter how you slice it and dice it, whether it’s his sexism, whether it’s intimidation, whether it’s the racist implications of some of the things he says, it all comes down to bullying.
