I don’t care for Megyn Kelly, mainly because she’s just another of the talking head propagandists over at Fox News, but I don’t think the way she is being treated since Thursday’s GOP debate is the way you treat anyone.
Not only did Donald Trump in typical bully fashion call in to CNN last night and say that Kelly had blood in her eyes and “blood coming out of her wherever,” he has also taken to social media so he can continue to trash a woman who was merely doing her job as a member of the news media.
And now Trump’s demented minions on the Internet are taking cheap, demeaning, lowlife gutter shots at Kelly. They are following his spiteful lead and posting incendiary crap like this online:
And these are the ones that don’t make you feel like you need a shower after you read them! There are other ones that are so emblematic of the kind of vitriol Trump has stirred up in this country you have no difficulty imagining they came from the mind of some twisted, perverted loser who hangs out in dark alleys late at night:
Let me take a moment here to say something that has been building in me since Trump acted the way he did with Megyn Kelly the other evening: If Donald Trump or any man called my daughter or my mother a disgusting pig or said she should be on her knees before him, I would challenge his pompous ass to a duel. This is not how you talk to a woman, no matter what you may think of her. It is not how a gentleman carries himself.
But I forgot, Donald Trump is not a gentleman. He is an arrogant piece of excrement who deserves to be discarded into the dunghill he crawled out of.
As was said many years ago by a man much better than me to another blowhard:
