A new and disgusting ploy to make bigots seem like victims has been made by a group called CatholicVote. It really makes you wonder – are they THAT afraid of gay marriage in church?

The video below shows people who are seemingly hesitant to talk about something. Many of them show or express concern about the subject. They later make the disgusting reveal that they feel scared and oppressed because they fear how people will feel about them once they tell the world what they are going to say. Eventually they reveal that they are against same-sex marriage. WHAT? How are you oppressed for being hateful and attacking a group of people who are just now obtaining the rights you have always had?

What they say in the video is not even the most disgusting part though. The video is not unique. They are in fact copying the appearance of video submissions to the “It Gets Better Project”……. Go ahead, gag.

Here is the video by the bigots:

This video just made you furious, I know. If you are mad enough that you really want to combat such ignorance please donate to the It Gets Better Project. Otherwise please laugh at the very unusual and seriously disturbing crying the women in the middle of the video does. How does talking about how much of a bigot you are make you cry? Unless she is crying because of how bad she fells, it is very unnecessary.

I hope that no one in the LGBTQ+ community watched this and felt any worse about themselves, but I fear this is a reality. I don’t know how these people sleep at night. If you or someone you know is feeling suicidal please check out the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for help.

This video isn’t the last ploy we will see by the bigots who live to attack people, but we can and will win against these bigots by love and compassion.
