Ted Cruz is a prominent Tea Party Republican and GOP hopeful. Cruz shut down the government in 2014 and he plans to again in the near future. The GOP joke has decided that his best chance at getting some new support is to make himself look even more idiotic. In an attempt to rescue his fellow warmongers from peace he spoke to Dana Loesch, a conservative radio show host, about his challenge to have a one-on-one debate with President Obama to discuss the Iran deal. Cruz said:
“I invited President Obama to debate me, not on the rhetoric, but on the substance of this deal.”
And to add a cherry on the already delicious clown cake he said:
“If he can’t be pulled of the golf course. Then he can send as a proxy Secretary Kerry.”
WHAT? This is coming from the man that according to Politico:
“. . .skipped a vast majority of Armed Services Committee hearings, is below-average in attendance on his other major committees and ranks 97th in showing up for roll call votes on the Senate floor.”
In order for Cruz to even come close to getting the chance to debate the President he might need to actually show up for work!
Even though Cruz might think it would be a good idea to debate President Obama we all know that this would end his political career. After a few simple statements of how the deal will lead to a long-lasting peace with Iran, the President will watch as Ted Cruz tries to find some way he can prove that the President is only making the deal because the President is a Jihadi Muslim as Cruz’s followers believe.
They go on to discuss how the deal is a threat to our allies. One might wonder how is peace a threat to our allies? However you have to realize that you can not use logic when you have to appeal to the Tea Baggers.
With the Fox News debates drawing nearer Ted Cruz’s motive for his bizarre statements could not be clearer. The Tea Bagger is trying to weasel his way closer to the front seat of the clown car and at the same time prevent anyone else from taking his seat. As of the latest poll conducted by Quinnipiac Cruz sits in 8th place with only five percent of the vote. He only has a two point lead which means he is in territory where he could easily be overtaken by one of the other GOP clowns.
With such a tight race the craziness will certainly continue spewing from the mouths of the GOP clowns.
