Donald Trump: If I’m President, ‘World Would Unite’

Introducing the 45th Elected President Of The United States Of America, Donald John Trump!

This statement is probably Trump’s wake up alarm in the morning. And for many Americans, that message might seem like line from a hilarious comedy skit, however day by day the prospect of that statement becoming reality makes the joke less and less funny.

On Thursday Trump said he would unite the world should he become the 45th president of the United States. Trump was downplaying his talent for creating controversy during a recent trip to Scotland. He said this,

“I think that I would be a great uniter. I think that I would have great diplomatic skills,” Trump said when asked by a local reporter about his past incendiary remarks.

“I think that I would be able to get along with people very well. I’ve had a great success in my life. I think the world would unite if I were the leader of the United States,” Trump added.

Trump’s presidential campaign announcement is probably the most controversial announcement in presidential campaign history. He basically insulted the entire country of Mexico from day one, calling its citizens rapists.

Not only did Trump call Mexico’s citizens rapists, he doubled down on his rhetoric, as opposed to the traditional non-apology for “mis-speaking” or being “taken out of context.” He proceeded to level insults at a level and pace that would make even Eminem say “Whoa man…..chill out….daaaamn.”

Trump has even threatened to offer Sarah Palin a cabinet position! It’s possible (if not likely) that Trump would follow through.

For many conservatives, Donald Trump represents the personification of the angry white male. The conservative troll who stalks the internet looking for liberals to battle. It would seem that these people have found their candidate. He sits on top of the polls heading into next week GOP primary debate and you can bet it will be the most watched primary debate in history.

Regardless of whether or not Trump wins the primaries, he has already set the tone for all of the other contenders.

As interesting as Trump’s statements are, it will be more interesting to hear what the growing Latino Vote has to say to the GOP come next November.
