6 Of The Creepiest, Most Horrible Things Ever Found By New Homeowners

There’s no feeling quite like buying your first home and becoming a member of the ranks of homeowners. It makes you feel empowered, proud, accomplished, and terrified, all the same time. And that’s when things go well.

We all want a Dream House, but some people get a nightmare instead. Like the six examples below:

#1 A Wall Full Of Snakes

Meet Ben and Amber Sessions, who discovered that what they thought was their dream home was instead what the locals had come to refer to as the snake house. Shortly after moving in, Ben began finding more than 40 snakes in his yard in a single day. He would carry them off the property in buckets.

Not long after that, the Sessions family spent a sleepless night listening to a noise which they said sounded like a slithering in their walls.

When Ben removed a panel of siding, dozens of snakes came bursting out.

You may now scream.

Eventually, Ben and Amber ended up abandoning the place, having to file for bankruptcy in the process.

#2 A Hidden TOXIC Room

In this case, the house was contaminated with black mold. While the owners lived there, one of the children mentioned she had gotten so sick that she was unable to hold any nutrition and couldn’t breathe.

It was eventually determined that the black mold toxicity levels were so high that the home was uninhabitable.

#3 An Ancient Burial Ground

Imagine, a skull comes rolling out of your new home. That’s what happened to Helen Weisensel. It turned out that her house had been built atop an old, long-forgotten cemetery, one that archaeologists and local historians estimated to be 170 years old. And there were some ticked off dead folks who had been there long before she had.

#4 Walls That Ooze

Debbie Hill moved into her Colorado home and came home one hot summer day to discover something brown and sticky running from her walls.
Before buying the home, Debbie had heard the previous owners had to exterminate a massive beehive that had been found in the walls.

So, Debbie Hill’s new home was drizzled in yummy honey. Mice and ants love honey, and they were feasting on Ms. Hill’s abode.

#5 An Old But Live Artillery Shell

The DeForest family found something in their basement. They initially believed it to be a torpedo.

They were later informed it was either a round for a mortar or a lightweight anti-tank weapon and, more importantly, that it showed no signs of ever having been disassembled and disarmed. It was live and very dangerous.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit cameĀ in and removed the projectile.

#6 The Mummified Body Of The Former Owner

Jorge Giro had just purchased a beautiful home on the Spanish seaside. Imagine the beauty of a home by the sea!

But when Giro opened the door of his new house, he found……… the dried-up corpse of the previous owner.

You may once again feel free to scream.

No one is sure long the mummified corpse had been there, but the mortgage payments had stopped six years prior.
