Steve King, the radical, anti-immigration Iowa Congressman has really stepped into it this time, and the poop has blown up right in his face.
Friday, in response to a statement from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Julian Castro, King declared online that he is Hispanic and Latino.
Say what?!
First, here’s what Secretary Castro said on MSNBC:
“The GOP can kiss the Latino vote goodbye.”
King thought it a good idea to take to Twitter and declare:
“What does Julian Castro know? Does he know that I’m as Hispanic and Latino as he?”
As Hispanic and Latino as Julian Castro? Does Congressman King never look in the mirror? Or is he really this batshit crazy? My money is on the second of those two options.
But wait, it gets better, because an online prankster went to Wikipedia and posted this updated profile of Steve King:
Now that’s what I call a good online version of being punk’d!
Keep in mind this is the very same Steve King who just last year told a young DREAMer activist:
?You’re very good at English.”
And you’re very good at racism and xenophobia, Congressman. Are you hoping to get placed on a 2016 ticket with Donald Trump?
More recently, King has made sickening tweets such as these:

And to think, this guy keeps getting reelected! Well, at least for a little while the joke was on him.
