WATCH A Guy Make A Playable Record Out Of…A Tortilla! Freaking Awesome!

Did you know that you can make a playable phonograph record out of a tortilla? Me either, but apparently the old saying is accurate: Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Redditor UpgradeTech?was inspired by a YouTube video which?showed?a tortilla ?playing? the song ?Jarabe Tapatio.” It wasn’t actually playing anything, and that was part of the joke. But hey, why not try for the real thing?

UpgradeTech used a laser cutter to cut and embed grooves into the tortilla. He added:

“Uncooked ones seem to work the best since they are the flattest.?

Consider that your helpful hint for the day.

Does the tortilla LP actually play? Yep, sure does. Matter of fact, it also plays “Jarabe Tapatio,” which is also known as the “Mexican Hat Dance.” However, the sound quality isn’t all that awesome, probably because it’s a freaking tortilla!

You can also make your own record from a tortilla, if you’re so inclined. Just follow these easy instructions.

Or you can just be content with the video.
