Chilling Video: Military Appreciation Night

We never thank our military enough, but one Frontier League baseball team decided it was time for a change as they hosted a Military Appreciation Night. The Florence Freedom, an independent professional?baseball?team based out of Florence,? Kentucky, allowed active and retired military veterans and their families?to come out to the ball park at no charge, as their tickets were provided by sponsors. Organizations such as the VA received tickets to distribute out to their members.

It was a warm night in Florence, and it was sure to be unforgettable. During the middle of the seventh inning, all the military members that were in attendance were called down to the field, and for a moment, the entire stadium was silent. Then a?loud applause rang throughout the ball park as the men and women who served?us, stood in front of our very eyes, reassuring us that our freedom is thanks to them.

But don’t take my word for it, as you can watch the video below that puts life into perspective.
